How two-way switch works?

“Two-way” switch means placing two or more switches in different places to control light. They are wired that either controls the operation light of the switch

There are two ways you can make a two-way switch connection. One is the older method, which is not often used nowadays and the other is the more modern and safer version that is being implemented in industrial as well as residential applications. We look at both of these stars at once.

Before proceeding, an important component called a “two-way light” switch is a key element of 2-way switching regardless of the type of wire used. It is a standard single-pole switch with three terminals.

This type of connection is commonly called a "break before brake" design, the first connection must be broken before the second the connection can be made.

You can see in the schematic that Neutral is connected to light, while the other terminal of the light bulb is connected to the common of switch 2.    

Live is connected to common of switch 1, while the L1 of both switches connected together and the L2 terminals of both switches connected together. 

Conclusion: -  So, In this way, you can connect a two-way switch.
